More Minecarts
Anvil Minecart
The anvil minecart removes entities obstructing the track, pushing them off to allow other minecarts to pass safely. It causes minimal damage (about a quarter of a heart) to entities during the push.
Ender Chest Minecart
A minecart equipped with built-in ender chest functionality.
Piston Minecart
This minecart can place and replace rails. It has an inventory where new rails can be placed on the left side and retrieved rails can be collected from the right side. Redstone torches can be added to power the rails; these torches are automatically placed below the track if the rails can be powered. The Piston Cart system has two primary modes: Place and Replace. Here's how each mode works:
Place Mode
- Function: The
Placemode is used to lay down new rails where none currently exist. - Usage:
- The Piston Cart will automatically detect if there is no rail at its current position and attempt to place a rail from its inventory.
- Useful for laying down tracks in new areas, ensuring a continuous path for the cart to follow.
Replace Mode
- Function: The
Replacemode is designed to replace existing rails with new ones. - Usage:
- The Piston Cart will check if there is an existing rail at its current position.
- If it finds a rail, it will remove the old rail and place a new one from its inventory.
- Ideal for upgrading or repairing existing tracks without manually removing the old rails first.
- Place: Adds new rails where none exist.
- Replace: Replaces existing rails with new ones.
Choose the appropriate mode based on whether you need to lay new tracks or upgrade existing ones. Understanding these modes ensures efficient management of your rail system.
Stonecutter Minecart
The Stonecutter Minecart can break blocks. By right-clicking, you can adjust the position of the saw. It will always break the block in front of the saw. The cart pauses while breaking a block and resumes its previous speed once done. It won't break a block at the same position consecutively, preventing static block breaking. Block drops are placed on the track, allowing collect with a hopper minecart.
More Rails
Crossing Rail
The Crossing Rail allows you to create an intersection between two tracks.
Directional Rail
The Directional Rail moves minecarts in a single direction without external power sources, useful for automated pathways with specific directional flows.
Filter Rail
The Filter Rail sorts minecarts based on their label, set with a Minecart Tinkerer. Labeled minecarts go sideways, while others continue straight.
Also exists as a Reinforced Rail.
Highspeed Rail
The Highspeed Rail provides a faster alternative to the Powered Rail but cannot be used on slopes. It is ideal for creating high-speed minecart tracks on flat surfaces.
Also exists as a Directional Rail.
Piston Minecart Controller Rail
The Piston Minecart Controller Rail manages Piston Minecarts. Labels set with a Minecart Tinkerer configure the mode for Piston Minecarts traveling over it. These rails are not replaced by Piston Minecarts.
Reinforced Rail
The Reinforced Rail maintains high speed on turns, similar to Highspeed Rails, but cannot be used on slopes.
This rail type exists for the following rails:
Minecart Tinkerer
The Minecart Tinkerer is used to add labels to minecarts and some types of rails. It can also toggle additional options for certain rails when right-clicked. This can be used for the Filter Rail or Piston Minecart Controller Rail.
Shulker Boats and Rafts
Similar to Chest Boats and Rafts, you can now craft Shulker Boats and Rafts using any wood type. When broken, the items inside will be stored.
